Terms and Conditions

1. About CicoDeal
CicoDeal is a business-to-business marketplace where professional bicycle dealers buy and sell bikes directly with each other. CicoDeal is part of the CICO platform, together with CicoPass (secure bike registration) and CicoConsole (the dealer dashboard). The platform is operated from the CicoDeal Kantoor, Hoenderkamp 20, 7812 VZ Emmen, The Netherlands.
2. Accounts & eligibility
Buying and selling on CicoDeal is reserved for verified bicycle dealers with an approved dealer account. Visitors may browse listings without an account, but bidding, buying and selling require a dealer login.
You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for all activity on your account. CicoDeal may suspend accounts that provide false company information or misuse the platform.
3. Listings
Sellers list bikes from their own verified stock through CicoConsole. Only bikes with dealer status In Stock can be published on the marketplace. The seller is responsible for the accuracy of the listing: brand, model, condition, mileage, specifications, photos and price.
A listing can be removed by the seller at any time, except that an auction with bids cannot be withdrawn (see Auctions & Bidding).
1. How auctions work
A seller may offer a bike by auction: bidding starts at the start price and runs until the published end time. Every auction also carries a Buy Now price at which any dealer can purchase the bike immediately; a Buy Now purchase ends the auction on the spot.
Each new bid must be higher than the current bid and must stay below the Buy Now price. When the auction ends, the highest bidder wins.
2. Bids are binding
A bid is a binding offer to purchase. If your bid wins the auction — or you use Buy Now — a purchase agreement between you and the selling dealer comes into existence at that price. Do not bid amounts you are not prepared to pay.
3. Cancelling an auction
A seller can cancel a running auction only while it has received no bids. Once a bid has been placed, the auction runs to its end — withdrawing the bike at that point would be unfair to the bidders.
1. The CicoDeal wallet
Payments between dealers are settled through the CicoDeal platform wallet. When a sale completes, the sale amount is credited to the seller's wallet and the platform commission is deducted automatically in the same settlement.
2. Platform commission
CicoDeal charges a commission on every completed sale, calculated as a percentage of the sale price. The applicable percentage is shown to the seller before listing. Example: at 10% commission, a €500 sale credits €450 to the seller and €50 commission to the platform.
3. Payouts
Sellers can request a payout of their wallet balance to their registered business bank account. Payout requests are processed for verified dealer accounts only.
1. Role of the platform
CicoDeal brings dealers together and facilitates the transaction; the purchase agreement itself is between the buying and the selling dealer. The seller remains responsible for the bike, its description and its delivery. CicoDeal is not a party to the sale.
2. Registration & stolen bikes
Bikes on CicoDeal come from CicoPass-registered dealer stock. The registration and history stay with the bike after a trade. Listing a bike that is reported stolen or that the seller is not entitled to sell is strictly prohibited and leads to immediate account suspension and notification of the authorities.
3. Changes & contact
CicoDeal may update these terms; the version published on this page applies. Material changes are announced to dealers in advance.
